Can or Cannot Pickpocket Gauntlets of Strength?[edit source]
This page says you cannot pickpocket the gloves if you give them to Helsik.

You can lockpick the balcony door upstairs and jump to from rooftop to rooftop until you're low enough to get down without taking fall damage. Swap the Gauntlets to each character you have that doesn't have the STR to make the jumps.
