• Set the wearer's  Strength to 23. The enchantment has no effect if their Strength score is higher without it.

Notes

• These gauntlets can be stolen without a fight, if the trap is disabled first with a  DC 20 Sleight of Hand Check and if the  Orphic Hammer / Soul-Sworn Contract and  Hope are left untouched.
• These gauntlets can be stolen in lieu of perception and disarm checks, by placing an item of equal weight on the pedestal, prior to picking up the gauntlets, à la Raiders of the Lost Ark.
• According to D&D rules, this item should be named Gauntlets of Frost Giant Strength, because Frost Giants have STR = 23 while Hill Giants only have STR = 21. When spawned via a script, these gauntlets are named Gauntlets of Frost Giant Strength.
• These gauntlets can be pickpocketed from  Helsik after given to her for the quest Acquire the Gauntlets for Helsik.
