Traveller Griska Doesnt have Cloud Giant Elixir?

I've been refreshing the shops at Wyrm Crossing for the past three hours. After acquiring 20 cloud giant potions and numerous cloud giant toes, I came to the conclusion that I've seen exactly 0 cloud giant strength elixirs on Traveller Griska. 111.250.197.132 07:21, 27 October 2025 (CET)

You know, I thought you were right because I've also never seen her with a cloud giant elixir, but I went digging in the game files to confirm, and this is what I found:

Griska rolls on the Alchemy_Potion_Supply table which I think just multiplies the quantity of what's rolled on the Alchemy_Potion table. The potion table has a 1/8 chance of rolling on the Elixir Table which, when you're above level 9, has a 1/4 chance of rolling on the Tier 3 Elixir Table which has a 1/3 chance of having an elixir of cloud giant strength.

So your odds of getting the elixir from her are 1/8*1/4*1/3 = 1/96 or ~1.0417% per refresh. Even if you refreshed a couple hundred times it wouldn't be strange if you saw no cloud giant elixirs from her. Anything Random (talk) 00:20, 29 October 2025 (CET)

Technically, other traders like  Nocturne also roll on this table. I feel we should probably either include all traders with any chance of having the potion, or remove Griska. Anything Random (talk) 00:57, 29 October 2025 (CET)

Ah wait, I was wrong about how Alchemy_Potion_Supply works. It actually rolls on the Alchemy_Potion table multiple times independently, so the actual chance of getting the cloud giant elixir is somewhere between 3-4%. Not great, but you would almost certainly get one within 100 refreshes. I maintain my previous point though, since I believe Nocturne should still have a higher chance of the potion appearing.Anything Random (talk) 03:46, 29 October 2025 (CET)
