Water myrmidon healing vapors also cause wet condition for 1 turn[edit source]
Another source of Wet[edit source]
The Reverse Rain Cloak is another source of Wet (applied to the wearer). It seems to be permanent until the cloak is unequipped. I can't find a way to add that to this page or add the Wet condition to the Reverse Rain Cloak page; how can we link the two together? Willach (talk) 00:44, 1 December 2023 (CET)
- Hi! Non-weapon equipment pages currently have no condition property baked into the template, you can use the {{inflict}} template on the desired page to include it in the condition Source list iirc. I added the template entry to the cloak page, thanks! T-Furan (talk) 00:51, 1 December 2023 (CET)
Bug? Steel Watchers not getting lightning vulnerability on Tactician[edit source]
Wet Watchers have been getting vulnerable to Cold but not Lightning in my tactician run. Anyone else seeing this? Known bug? MaliceTheGray (talk) 09:35, 3 November 2025 (CET)
- Steel Watchers innately have vulnerability to Lightning damage. On Tactician and Honour difficulties, they also get resistance to Lightning damage which cancels out the vulnerability to make them take neutral, 1x damage from Lightning.
- Due to how resistance/vulnerability mechanics work, any number of sources of vulnerability cancel out any number of sources of resistance, and vice versa. So if a creature has resistance to a damage type, the best you can do is negate that resistance with vulnerability (damage doubled from 0.5x to 1x). Applying additional sources of vulnerability cannot increase the damage further. So wet cannot increase the Lightning damage dealt to Steel Watchers since they already have 1 source of vulnerability cancelling out resistance to Lightning damage from innate modifiers.
- This unintuitive behaviour is mentioned in Steel Watcher (creature)#Immunities. NtCarlson (talk) 16:04, 3 November 2025 (CET)
