A Trapped Object is a common type of Trap disguised as an otherwise ordinary Environmental Object. Trapped Objects can be encountered in almost every location throughout the game and can trigger various harmful effects when interacted with.

Involvement[edit section | visual editor]

A Trapped Object is a common interactable object that has been fitted with a trap. Interacting with one before its trap has been disarmed causes the trap to trigger, potentially dealing damage and / or applying conditions to nearby party members.

Examples of Trapped Objects include trapped chests, doors and bookshelves.

The trap itself is revealed as a orange outline when a successful skill check is done by any party member, typically this is a Perception CheckPerception Check. After the trap is detected, it can be disarmed via Sleight of Hand skill (requires a Trap Disarm Toolkit in the inventory of the interacting party member).

After disarming, the trapped object can be used like it would normally.
