Verillius Receptor is a Fiend who works as a High Inquisitor in service of Zariel. She has official permission to audit Raphael's collection. Verillius' true form is so ghastly and mind-scarring that she takes on guises when she comes to visit. Although she never appears in the game, she is especially feared by the 
Archivist in the House of Hope. Thus, the player character can deceive the Archivist by introducing themselves as Verillius, saying they are acting as Zariel's High Inquisitor. Successfully doing so allows the party to stay in the Archive without triggering an alarm.
