Danis is found at the [[Druid Grove]] discussing their future life in [[Baldur's Gate]] with his wife, [[Bex]]. He was employed by his father-in-law as a caravan before he quit on his third day.

The party can first encounter '''Danis''' speaking with his wife [[Bex]] in the [[Emerald Grove]] about what they hope to do once they reach [[Baldur's Gate]].

If travelling to [[Mountain Pass]] or [[Shadow-Cursed Lands]] before resolving [[Kagha]]'s [[Rite of Thorns]], the tieflings will be expelled from the [[Emerald Grove]] and Danis's corpse can be found among the bodies of all the other refugees near the bridge to the [[Blighted Village]].

If he is alive after the party completes [[Defeat the Goblins]], he will be found celebrating with [[Bex]] at the campsite, though in a less drunk state than her. Alternatively if the party chose to [[Raid the Grove]], he can be found and killed with the other Tiefling civilians hiding in Zevlor's [[Secluded Chamber]].

=== Act Two ===
If Danis survived the events of [[Act One]], it is revealed by [[Bex]] at the [[Last Light Inn]] that Danis was captured along with the majority of the refugees. He can be rescued from the dungeons at [[Moonrise Towers Prison]] as part of the quest to [[Rescue the Tieflings]].

If he was not freed from Moonrise Towers before the party deals with the [[Nightsong]], his corpse can be found in the [[Oubliette]], together with the corpses of all the other prisoners.

=== Act Three ===
If rescued in [[Act Two]], Danis can be found with the other refugees in [[Rivington]] near the [[Requisitioned Barn]]. He and [[Bex]] thank the party for all their help.
