Melf's Acid Arrow is a level 2 evocation spell. This spell allows spellcasters to shoot a magical arrow that deals Acid damage to a target on impact and at the end of its next turn.

Description

Shoot a green arrow that bursts in a spray of acid. Deals 4d4Damage TypesAcid damage immediately and 2d4Damage TypesAcid damage at the end of the target's next turn.

If the spell misses, the target still takes half the initial damage, but no damage at the end of its next turn.

At higher levels

When the spell is cast at 3rd Level or higher, the spell's damage increases by an extra 2d4Damage TypesAcid damage (1d4Damage TypesAcid on impact and at the end of target's turn) for each Spell Slot Level above 2nd.
