‡ = These templates are used for listing queried data.

Actions and movement

• Template:Action: Displays either in-game action resources or movement.
• Template:Action icon: Adds an action or movement icon with custom text.
• Template:Prereq: Format text as white in-game minor warnings.
• Template:Warning: Format text as red in-game major warnings.
• Template:WeaponAction: Displays a specified weapon action.

Classes and features

• Template:Class: Adds a link to a class or subclass, with icon.
• Template:Expertise
• Template:ProficiencyBonus
• Template:Resource: Used to format class-specific resources.
• Template:Resource optional: Variant of resource. Inserts nothing if course is not specified.

Conditions

• Template:Cond: Format text with a link and icon to display a condition.
• Template:Condition†: Display a fully formatted condition. Runs the cargo query.
• Template:Condition sources‡: Builds a list of things that add the specified conditions.
• Template:Condition Type: Display a text with a condition icon plus a link to curse, disease, or poison.
• Template:Inflicts†: A marker template used to indicate that something inflicts the specified condition.

Damage and effects

• Template:DamageColor: Format with colour based on damage type.
• Template:DamageInfo: Add formatted damage info.
• Template:DamageModifier: Add an attack and damage modifier.

• Template:DamageType: Format as a damage type.
• Template:Duration: Format a text to display duration, with an icon.

Descriptions and quotes

• Template:Achievement: Display in-game achievements.
• Template:BookText: Format as a book text.
• Template:Class Quote: Adds a class quote with a class symbol
• Template:Description: Add a pre-formatted description.
• Template:Q: Formats text as a simple quote.
• Template:Quote: Formats text as a multi-paragraph quote.

Dice rolls

• Template:Ability check: Displays a specified ability check as a link, with a specified Difficulty Class and a d20 icon.
• Template:Advantage: Format text to display an Advantage link with icon
• Template:Attack roll: Format text to display the text Attack roll, with an icon.
• Template:d20: Display a d20 die.
• Template:DieIcon: Add a die icon.
• Template:Disadvantage: Format text to display a Disadvantage link with icon.
• Template:Saving Throw: Displays a specified saving throw, and optionally a specified Difficulty Class.
  • Template:Short saving throw: A compact version of the saving throw template.

Distances

• Template:AOE: Format text to display areas of effect distance and type.
• Template:Radius: Used to display radius.
• Template:Range: Used to display range.

Footnotes

Lists

• Template:Notelist: Adds a footnote list to a page, without a section. To add a sectioned footnote, use "{{reflist|note}}" instead.
• Template:Reflist: Displays ordinary or grouped references with formatting.

Markers

• Template:Cite web: Adds a reference with an external url.
• Template:Note: Adds a footnote link to a page.
• Template:Ref: Adds an ordinary or grouped reference.
• Template:Verify: Marks something as in need of verification.

Blurs should be used sparingly, as a last resort!

Warnings

• Template:Cw: Add a content warning.
• Template:SpoilerWarning: Add a spoiler warning.

Wiki

• Template:Guide: Insert a hatnote to mention that the page is a guide.
• Template:Priority: Adds a priority notice to a page.
• Template:Rewrite: Adds a notice that the page should be written to comply with the wiki's |style guidelines.
• Template:Stub: Adds a notice for very short articles in need of expanding.

Layout

• Template:Blank: Add spaces or line breaks in texts where they would normally be removed.
• Template:Clear: Prevent overflow at the end of a section.

Technical

• Template:Code: Format as code.
• Template:CURRENTDATE: Display the current date.
• Template:IfEmpty: Value is true if a parameter is empty.
• Template:PageSeo: Adds SEO to a page.

Text formatting

• Template:Colour: Add colour to a text.
• Template:Em: Add emphasis to a text, typically a single word in a sentence.
• Template:Strong: Formats texts as urgent, serious or important.
