Enver Gortash is revealed to be Bane's Chosen. In the Mind Flayer Colony underneath Moonrise Towers, Gortash is accompanied by Orin the Red and Ketheric Thorm. Using his Netherese Stone, the Edict of Bane, he issues the order to the Netherbrain to march the Absolute's armies on Baldur's Gate.

If Enver Gortash is fought, he can call to Bane for aid. Bane transforms Gortash into the Avatar of Tyranny Avatar of Tyranny. If Speak with Dead Speak with Dead is used on Enver Gortash, Bane will respond in his stead claiming that Gortash's soul is now suffering at his hands for failing him.

Notes

  • Bane was originally available as a deity for Cleric in Early Access, but the option was cut in the full release of the game.
