Wrath of the Storm: Thunder is a  Tempest Domain reaction. It allows the Cleric to strike back at an attacking creature using a Reaction, doing Thunder damage.

Description

If a nearby enemy attacks you, you can retaliate with a burst of thunder that deals 2d8Thunder damage.

Notes

• The conditions for triggering this reaction are:
  • Attacker is within 2 m / 7 ft. This means enemies with longer reach can attack you without triggering the reaction. Also,  Opportunity Attacks will often land after you have left the 2 m / 7 ft range, even against enemies with normal melee range.
  • Attack does damage. This means completely negating the attack damage with abilities like  Arcane Ward will prevent the reaction from triggering.
  • Attack hits. This means that the reaction cannot trigger on an attack that misses but still does damage such as  Tenacity.
