Menacing Attack (Ranged)

Menacing Attack (Ranged) is a Battle Master Fighter Action. This combat maneuver allows the Fighter to deal damage to enemies with Ranged Weapons and possibly Frighten them.

Description

Spend a superiority die to deal Weapon Damage + 1d8 Physical and possibly Frighten the target.

Properties

Action + Superiority Die

• Damage: Weapon Damage + 1d8Physical (Inherits Weapon Damage Type)
• Attack roll
•  Range: 18 m / 60 ft (Inherits Weapon Range)
• Wisdom saving throw to negate the Frightened effect

Frightened Duration: 1 turn

• A Frightened creature has Disadvantage on Ability Checks and Attack Rolls.

At Higher Levels

When this maneuver is used at Battle Master level 10, the damage added by the Superiority Die increases to 1d10Physical (not available in Early Access).
