Armor is a type of Equipment that provides bonuses to the characters' Armour Class (AC) and decrease chances of being hit by enemies.

Armor Proficiency

People who trained to fight in armor can use it effectively in combat.

Wearing armors without proficiency will impose Disadvantage on every Ability Check, Saving Throw, attack roll, you also can not cast Spell.

Each classes have proficiency with specific type of armors. Some classes such as Sorcerer and Wizard have no armor proficiency.

Type Of Armors

There are three types of armors, such as: Light Armors, Medium Armors and Heavy Armors.

Light Armor


Light Armors are armors that provide protection without sacrificing mobility.

When wearing Light Armor, your Armour Class are equal to the Armor’s base AC plus your Dexterity Modifier.

List Of Light Armors

Medium Armor


Medium Armors are armors that provide more protection than Light Armors, but they hinder mobility.

When wearing Medium Armor, your Armour Class are equal to the Armor’s base AC plus your Dexterity Modifier (Max of 2).

Heavy Armor


Heavy Armors are armors that provide the most protection of the three types, but they also offer no mobility.

When wearing Medium Armor, your Armour Class are equal to the Armor’s base AC.
