Comeback Handaxe image

Comeback Handaxe is an uncommon, lightly enchanted (+1) variant of the Handaxes family of weapons. It is a simple melee weapon wielded in one hand. It's a light weapon that anyone can dual-wield without special training. Its design lends itself well to be thrown at enemies as a projectile.

Description Icon.png

This loyal axe always returns to its owner after being thrown. However, it has no eyes and therefore dreadful aim, inevitably returning to its thrower blade-end-first.

Notes

  • True to its name, the axe has a hidden Homing Weapon feature but will also hit the thrower on the way back, dealing only the base 1d6+1 damage.
  • Unlike other homing weapons, the axe doesn't equip itself, instead returning to inventory. It also doesn’t suffer from the combat initiation bug.
