For an explanation of all weapon properties, see Weapons. For the cantrip, see LightLight.

Light is a weapon property that allows characters to dual wield weapons, that is, equip one Light weapon in their main hand and one Light weapon in their off-hand.

When dual wielding, after taking the Main Hand AttackMain Hand Attack or Ranged AttackRanged Attack actions, a Bonus Action can be used to make an Off-Hand Attack (Melee)Off-Hand Attack (Melee) or Off-Hand Attack (Ranged)Off-Hand Attack (Ranged). The Dual Wielding toggle on the hotbar controls whether these attacks are made together or separately.

By default, no ability score modifier is added to the damage of an Off-Hand Attack.
