Abjuration Wizard

Last I recall, Shield did not add to Arcane Ward stacks, which seems like an important piece of info that should be listed here or on the Abj School page. This bug has been around for 8-10 months with no signs of being fixed. 172.56.10.7 19:53, 2 June 2024 (CEST)

After patch 7:

This spell still does not add Arcane Ward stacks despite it's an Abjuration School's spell. This should be mentioned in the following articles: Shield, Arcane Ward and Abjuration School. Pallando (talk) 20:08, 26 September 2024 (CEST)

Wild Magic

In addition to triggering when a spell shouldn't (Sussur Flower Antimagic Field and Barbarian Rage), using Shield as a reaction doesn't trigger a wild magic surge. Ekathyh (talk) 14:52, 26 January 2025 (CET)

Blocked by Rage and Sussur Bloom

Based on some testing by myself and others it appears Shield is now blocked by Sussur Bloom and Rage. They may have patched it to correctly have it only work when the character does not have the HasSpellCastBlocked condition. I might go crazy and edit the page, but if anyone has some tests proving otherwise please feel free to correct me on it. 98.151.204.63 02:25, 8 September 2025 (CEST)
