Threatened (Condition)
From bg3.wiki
More actions
- An enemy is close. Has Disadvantage on ranged Attack rolls.
Notes
- Despite its description, this condition has no effect on ranged attacks from the Threatened creature. There is a separate hidden effect which grants Disadvantage to all ranged attacks within 3 m / 10 ft of the attacker, including elevation ("Target is too close").
- Because of how this effect is implemented, it is possible for a target to be within an aura with a range of 3 m / 10 ft (such as Aura of Murder) while not being close enough to grant disadvantage on ranged attacks. This is because the Threatened effect measures the distance from the centre of the attacker to the target while an aura's effects account for the size of a creature's hitbox.
