Darkvision is a passive feature that grants a creature the ability to see in the dark up to 12 m / 40 ft.

It is available to many Races such as Elf, Tiefling, Dwarf, Half-Elf, Forest Gnome, Rock Gnome, Half-Orc characters as well as many monsters.
