Improvised Melee Weapon is a common Action that allows the user to improvise an attack by picking up an item or creature off the ground.

Description

Pick up an item or creature and use it to make a melee attack.

Your Strength affects how much weight you can lift. Heavier items deal more damage.

  • Damage determined by the weight of the item or creature
    • Lighter items (10kg or less) deal 1d4Damage TypesBludgeoning damage
    • Heavier items (more than 10kg) deal 2d4Damage TypesBludgeoning damage

Notes

  • A creature can pick up items and other creatures weighing up to  kg. For example, with a Strength score of 18, the weight limit for Improvised Weapon is  Weight: 64.8 kg / 129.6 lb.
    • It requires a Strength of at least 20 to pick up a normal humanoid ( Weight: 75 kg / 150 lb).
  • The weight of a creature is not influenced by their equipped items or the items in their inventory.
