Menacing Attack is a Subclass Feature of Battle Masters. This ability allow these Fighters to deal damage to enemies and possibly Frighten them.

Description

Spend a superiority die to deal X damage and possibly Frighten the target.

Effect

Frightened Condition

“A Frightened creature has Disadvantage on Ability Checks and Attack Rolls while the source of its fear is within line of sight. The creature must run from the source of its fear, and it can’t take any additional actions.”
