Carrion crawler nest

On the south eastern end of the Decrepit Village, at X: 30 Y: -238 a peculiar hole formation is in a steep rocky slope.

If a party member interacts with one of the holes, they can inspect the hole and optionally reach an arm inside:

• [UNDERDARK] [SURVIVAL] Inspect the holes. (DC 15 )
• [SURVIVAL] Inspect the holes. (DC 15)
• [SHORT] Reach into one of the holes.
• Reach into one of the holes. (if not a Short race)

Passing the Survival check causes the interacting party member to realize the hole is from a  carrion crawler nest, a race of centipede-like creatures that feast on dead creatures.

If the party member is a short-height character (or disguised as one via  Disguise Self) and reaches into one of the holes, their hand will brush against a "fleshy tentacle" and a passive  DC 15 Wisdom Check is rolled (advantage if the Survival check was passed). Passing the check earns the ⁠Nest Egg inspiration event for party members with the  Outlander background and a random precious gem.

Failing the passive check horrifies the interacting party member, and they will not try to reach into the hole again.
