Impulse Blast is a passive feature that sends a shockwave when its wielder kills a creature or lands a critical hit.

Description

Knocks nearby creatures  Prone after killing a target or landing a Critical Hit.

 DEX Save (DC 14)

• The affected creature cannot move or take  Actions,  Bonus Actions, or  Reactions, and has  Disadvantage on  Strength and Dexterity Saving Throws.
• Attacks against a Prone creature have  Advantage if made within 3 m (10 ft) of the creature.
• A Prone creature must spend half its Movement Speed to stand up.
  • A character with the Athlete feat spends only 1.5 m (5 ft) of Movement Speed to stand up.

How to learn

Granted by the weapons:

• Intransigent Warhammer

Notes

• Impulse Blast only activates on attacks made with the  Intransigent Warhammer.
• Only enemies are affected by the blast.

Bugs

• Despite suggesting it automatically knocks nearby enemies prone, Impulse Blast has a hidden  DC 14 Dexterity Saving Throw.
