Phalar Aluve: Shriek is a class action granted by the Phalar Aluve. It is a variant of Phalar Aluve: Melody Phalar Aluve: Melody. The sword penalises nearby enemies' Saving Throws and Attack Rolls and causes them to take additional ThunderThunder damage whenever they are damaged.

Description

The sword Shrieks. All enemies within 6 m / 20 ft of range have a D4 Physical.png 1d4 penalty to all[See: Bugs] Saving throws. Affected creatures receive an extra 1d4ThunderThunderDRS damage.

The sword will stop shrieking if unequipped.

Notes

  • The condition Singing Sword: Shrieking is applied to the wielder of Phalar Aluve.
  • The condition Singing Sword: Shriek is applied to enemies within the area of effect.
  • Despite what the in-game descriptions implies, the additional thunder damage triggers on any damage dealt to targets in aura from any source (not just from weapon attacks from Phalar Aluve, and not just damage from direct party members). Effects that hit multiple times (such as Magic Missile Magic Missile) will trigger the thunder damage multiple times.

Bugs

  • Despite its description, Shriek affects all saving throws and attack rolls made by the affected target.
