Rigged Fireworks

A Rigged Fireworks is a common type of Trap that can be found inside the basement of Arfur's Mansion.

Involvement[edit section | visual editor]

Upon entering the basement, the party may find several hidden Rigged Fireworks that function similarly to Tripwires. They are typically hidden unless successfully perceived with a Perception Perception check, and are placed in a way to block the party's movement.

If the line is crossed while the trap is not disarmed, the trap triggers, causing 2d6⁠Fire⁠Fire damage.

However, it is usually set together with some other traps or explosives planted nearby, and tearing it causes a chain reaction of further triggering of other devices.

A Rigged Fireworks trap can be disarmed with the help of Sleight of Hand Sleight of Hand skill, but the interacting party member must have a  Trap Disarm Toolkit in their inventory. Minimal requirement is a DC 10 Sleight of Hand Check DC 10 Sleight of Hand Check roll, but the Difficulty Class may vary depending on circumstances.
