Where to find

Notes

  • Picking this up after the quest Find the Blood of Lathander Find the Blood of Lathander has been started triggers DC 14 Religion check. Passing it causes the player character, if not being one of the Origins, to comment their disappointment, stating "Is this it? Seems a little underwhelming for a holy relic". The origin characters each have a unique variant of this line:
    • Astarion: "This is an ancient holy relic? It doesn't feel that ancient. Or holy."
    • Gale: "Hmm. Seems a touch... underwhelming."
    • Karlach: "This can't be the blood of Lathander, can it? It's a bit... eh."
    • Lae'zel: "The Blood of Lathander. Hardly impressive as relics go."
    • Shadowheart: "Is this the Blood of Lathander? A bit underwhelming, for a relic."
    • Wyll: "So this is what passes as a holy relic? I expected a little more drama, honestly."
    • These lines may play even if the actual The Blood of Lathander has already been found.
  • Picking up this item also updates the Find the Blood of Lathander Find the Blood of Lathander quest.
