Notes

• This book is presented as a dramatization of the events of Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn which took place in the capital city of Amn - Athkatla after the defeat of Sarevok in the previous game.
• In the opening chapter of Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Jaheira's husband, Khalid, is tortured and killed by ⁠Jon Irenicus, thus explaining why some of the pages from the earlier chapters of Jaheira's copy would have been defaced or torn out.
