• The  Ten Black Days of Eleint were a period of events that started a civil war in the Kingdom of Tethyr, which lasted for over 20 years. They occurred within the first year of  Jaheira's life.
•  Jhessem is likely the author of the diagrams mentioned in the text, as she's the only one of Jaheira s adoptive family interested in tracing her lineage.
