The Sovereign's Key

The Sovereign's Key is a Story Item which can be looted from Sovereign Spaw's body. While in the inventory of an active party member, it temporarily neutralizes all mushroom and spore traps for the party in the Underdark.

This key was found on the Myconid Sovereign. It looks polished, well cared for, and very important.

Notes

• This item can be looted from Spaw if it is  Knocked Out.
• If the party accept the quest ⁠Avenge Glut's Circle and then refuse to kill Spaw, the effect of this item will be removed from the character who speaks with  Sovereign Glut; one can instead use a mercenary or companion not regularly kept in the party during this conversation, allowing regular party members to retain the effect.^[verify]
