Involvement

Bibberbang are highly flammable, and will also explode if a creature lingers close to a Bibberbang for too long. They are found primarily in the Underdark, but some are also growing in the basement of the Bonecloak's Apothecary.

Destroying a Bibberbang specimen along with all other kinds of hazardous mushrooms in the Underdark grants an inspirational event ⁠Mushroom Enthusiast for characters with the  Outlander background.

• Affected entity takes 1d4⁠⁠Poison each turn. It must succeed a  DC 15 Constitution Saving Throw or take an additional 2d4⁠⁠Poison, taking half damage in a success.
