Githyanki ardent Jhe'rezath

Githyanki ardents are a class-like archetype of githyanki NPC encountered throughout Baldur's Gate 3. Mages that specialize in psionic combat, ardents are the purest githyanki spellcasters encountered in the game.

Attacks and abilities

Ardents wield a Githyanki Shortsword, though they will always prefer casting a cantrip over swinging their sword, unless forced by  Silence. Despite this reluctance for swordsmanship, they also benefit from  Extra Attack.

 Psychic Rend ()

2d8 (2~16) + Spellcasting modifier Psychic

Reach into an enemy's mind. Tear it to pieces and inflict Disadvantage on Intelligence and Wisdom checks and Saving Throws.
