Rolan's Thunderwave is a level 1 evocation spell. This spell is a variant of the Thunderwave spell, unique to Rolan. It cannot be learned by players and is only used by NPCs.
Description
Release a focused blast of thunderous force that pushes targets back 12m and knocks them
Properties
At higher levels
Casting this spell at a higher level grants no additional benefit.
Condition: Prone
- Can't move or take Actions, Bonus actions, or Reactions, and has Disadvantage on Strength and Dexterity saving throws.
- Attacks against a Prone creature have Advantage if they're made within 3 m / 10 ft of the creature.
- A Prone creature must spend half its Movement Speed to stand up.
- A character with the Athlete feat spends only 1.5 m / 5 ft of Movement Speed to stand up.
How to learn
Notes
- This spell can't be learned by a playable character. It is only available to Rolan.
- Uniquely, while it costs a spell slot to use, it does not mention any level for the spell slot.
