Breaking a Smokepowder Barrel without igniting it creates a Smokepowder surface. Stepping inside a Smokepowder surface has no effect.
Igniting a Smokepowder Barrel with Fire damage creates and detonates a Smokepowder surface, dealing a large amount of Force damage. When ignited, a Smokepowder surface has the following effects for all creatures standing on it:
- 2d6 (2~12) Firedamage (DC 12 Dexterity saving throw to halve)
- 2d6 (2~12) Forcedamage
- Creatures caught in the blast are knocked back
- The Smokepowder surface becomes a Fire Surface (which immediately inflicts the Burning condition)
