    • Companions, temporary companions and playable characters can be revived. However, some cannot be revived if they have not been recruited first, or die as a result of plot-lines in the game. For example:
      • If Karlach Karlach is killed as part of Wyll Wyll's questline, before or after being admitted to the party, she cannot be revived.
      • Conversely, if Wyll is killed by Karlach during a cut-scene confrontation just prior to long-resting after both have been recuited, he cannot be revived.
      • If Minthara Minthara is killed while being escorted out of Moonrise Towers before being admitted to the party campsite, she cannot be revived.
      • If Halsin Halsin dies while attempting to rescue Thaniel Thaniel from the Shadow Curse, he cannot be revived.
    • Alfira Alfira is an exception to the above. Should she be recruited and perish at any point after, she cannot be revived.
