Drakethroat Glaive

Drakethroat Glaive is a rare, moderately enchanted (+2) special variant of the Glaives family of weapons. Foes making saving throws against Dragonborn breath weapons wielding this weapon make their saves at Disadvantage, and the wielder can cast Elemental Weapon once per Long Rest.

Kereka, the draconic goddess of arcane knowledge, gifted this glaive to a dragonborn when facing off against a group of carbuncular spiders. How their arachnid legs curled and blackened before that night's dark business was done!

• Vicious Dragon Breath: Enemies have Disadvantage on Saving Throws against your Dragonborn breath weapon.
•  Draconic Elemental Weapon: Imbue a weapon with elemental power. It receives a +1 bonus to Attack rolls, and deals an additional 1d4 damage of your choice.
  • Recharge: Long rest

Weapon actions

If you have proficiency, equip in main hand to gain:

• Rush Attack ()

  Charge forward and attack the first enemy in your way, possibly pushing them  Off Balance.

• Lacerate ()

  Slash at your target's vital points to make it  Bleed.

• Cleave ()

  Swing your weapon in a large arc to attack up to 3 enemies at once. They each take half the damage your weapon usually deals.

Notes

• The  Draconic Elemental Weapon ability can be used to enchant a weapon other than  Drakethroat Glaive. For that, equip  Drakethroat Glaive and throw the weapon you want to enchant onto the ground. Then target the weapon on the ground with the ability, pick it up and equip it.
