Cacophony is a rare, lightly enchanted (+1) special variant of the Quarterstaves family of weapons. It is a simple melee weapon that can be wielded in one hand, or with both hands for extra damage.
Carved in circles across the knob of the staff are different words for thunder. Gnomish, Sylvan, Elvish, Celestial, even the Primordial tongue - all of these and more fuse together to form the thunderword.
