Tarnished Ring

From bg3.wiki
Revision as of 16:51, 10 May 2024 by 68.50.2.43 (talk) (Added a point to the notes that this is likely a reference to Dark Souls 1's Amulet. This was a point in gaming history because people thought it had some secret ability but never did. In this game you play as a "Tarnished")

Where to find

Notes

  • As of Hotfix #5, this item seems to have no purpose other than to be sold to Traders for a bit of extra gold.
  • Lae'zel may comment on the potential of the ring when both pieces are found: 'Hm - the other part of that ring. Once repaired, it could be useful.' Any use it may have beyond being sold, however, remains unknown.
  • Similarly, Astarion will comment: 'This looks familiar - the missing part from that ring. You will look lovely once you're fixed.'
  • A common version of this ring can be looted from Dairow Vin, or at the center of the Guildhall X: -23 Y: 741.
  • May be a reference to the starting amulet with no abilities found in Dark Souls where you play as a Tarnished.
