Properties

If already applied If already applied: replace current

Notes

  • For Tactician difficulty, this damage is increased to 3d6Damage TypesNecrotic per spell level.
  • Can be prevented by Khalid's Gift.
  • Cantrips and spells that use class resources (such as Radiance of the Dawn Radiance of the Dawn) do not trigger the damage, as they inherently do not have levels.
  • Spells cast for free thanks to features like Arcane Battery Arcane Battery will still be treated as being cast at the chosen level.
  • If fast travelling to another area before leaving the Lair, such as Rivington, Spell Rot will not be removed.
  • Although Astarion is not generally considered Undead with respect to most effects, he does appear to be immune to this condition.
