Ancient Lair

Ancient Lair is a location in the Lower City Sewers of Baldur's Gate in Act Three. It is accessed through a passageway to the west of the Undercity Ruins waypoint.

Area Information

There are a lot of chests in this area. When you first enter you will get ambushed and have a curse (Spell Rot) placed on you. The curse will be removed when you leave the area.

On the North wall there is a lockpickable wall (DC 20) where you will find an area with Jar of Mystic Carrion's Liver and Jar of Mystic Carrion's Brain. Reading a book on a nearby table you will find out that Mystic Carrion has hidden his heart in a zombie (Thrumbo).
