At first, Ulkov tells the party to leave, as he is swamped with orders for coffins due to the recent serial killings in the city. If the party has met Anita and Elias Fischer and learned of their plight for a coffin, the party can tell him it's for a child or to have compassion, and he will bump someone to the back of the queue, but only for a large fee.
The party can then choose a bunch of options to convince Ulkov:
- Here - this should cover it. (500)
- [OATH OF DEVOTION] [GOOD CLERIC] [PERSUASION] This is for a child - an innocent soul. Make a coffin - it's the right thing to do. (DC 15)
- [PERSUASION] This is for a kid - please. How would you feel if you lost a child? (DC 20)
- [MONK] [PERSUASION] Please - only the simplest coffin is needed to ease the parents' suffering. (DC 20)
- [INTIMIDATION] You can either make those parents a coffin or I'll bury you alive. (DC 20)
- [BARBARIAN] [INTIMIDATION] How about I show you a more traditional burial? Though your skin might not like the flames. (DC 20)
If the party convinces Ulkov to make the coffin, the party can return to Anita and Elias who are ecstatic at the good news.
