Spellcrux Amulet image

Spellcrux Amulet is a very rare Amulet that allows the wearer to restore any one spell slot once per Long Rest.

Description Icon.png

Some scholars have speculated that spells have a mind of their own, suggesting that the spells get bored between being cast and restored.

Notes

  • The amulet cannot create new spell slots, only restore used ones. If you do not have a used spell slot of the level you chose, the amulet has no effect.
  • The amulet can recover spell slots that the caster does not innately have from their class, such as ones gained from Create Spell Slot Create Spell Slot, or ones from gear, such as Shield of Devotion.
  • It is capable of recovering both Warlock spell slots and regular spell slots. If you have empty spell slots of both types for the chosen level, it restores one slot for each type.
  • Likewise, if the amulet is equipped by Gale and he has the Consumed Shadow Weave feature, selecting third level will restore both a normal third-level spell slot and the third-level "shadow spell slot" granted by this feature.
  • This amulet allows a single Cleric to buff their Planar Ally with Heroes' Feast by casting the summon, restoring the sixth-level spell slot with the Spellcrux Amulet, and then casting Heroes' Feast.
  • The spell slot is not lost when the amulet is removed, meaning you can put the amulet on, restore a slot, and switch back to another amulet of your choice. The recharge is still tied to the amulet, so this cannot be done with multiple characters at once.
