. This variant allows spellcasters to hurl an orb of poison, dealing Poison damage and creating a Poison Surface.

Poison damage and creates a Poison Surface.

Notes
- Also granted to Warlocks who choose the Eldritch Invocation
at level 7+. When gained in this way, the spell can be cast once per Long Rest and doesn't expend Spell Slots. - Even though the tooltip description says it Poisons creatures, it instead just deals Poison damage instead.
