Turn on the charm. Coax and cajole.

Persuasion is a Charisma Skill used almost exclusively for dialogue Ability Checks.

Persuasion also affects the prices offered by Traders alongside their Attitude value towards the hero talking to them.

Merchant prices are calculated by either multiplying (in the case of buying) or dividing (in the case of selling) the item's value by a factor determined by:

Pricing factor = D - Persuasion/10 - Attitude/200

Where D is either 2.0, 2.5, or 3.0 depending on difficulty setting.

The game will not allow the pricing factor to reduce below 1.0 (one).
