Warding Bond

Warding Bond is a level 2 abjuration spell. This spell allows spellcasters to bolster an ally's defenses while also sharing any damage they receive.

Description

Ward an ally. They gain Resistance to all damage, and a +1 bonus to their  Armour Class and Saving throws. Each time the target takes damage, the spellcaster takes the same amount of damage.

At higher levels

Casting this spell at a higher level grants no additional benefit.

Classes:

• Class Level 3: Cleric

Notes

• Also granted by the ring True Love's Embrace. The spell can only be cast once per Long Rest, and the target must be wearing the matching ring, True Love's Caress.
• Also granted by the shield Viconia's Walking Fortress.
