Defensive Protocol: Bulwark

Defensive Protocol: Bulwark is a free action used by the Steel Watcher Titan in response to taking significant damage. The Titan enters a stationary, defensive state where it can unleash a devastating barrage of  Hellfire Missiles.

Description

Hunker down into an  Unyielding state and  Repair yourself. While hunkered, you can launch  Hellfire Missiles and  Repel combatants.

• While in this defensive state, the Steel Watcher becomes  Unyielding and can use its  Repair Matrix,  Hellfire Missiles and  Repelling Protocol.
• Also grants 75 temporary hit points.
• If the Steel Watcher loses these temporary hit points, he automatically uses  Terminate Bulwark Protocol and loses this condition.
• If hit by a Flashblinder, the Steel Watcher loses this condition.

• Only an attack dealing at least 15 damage can harm this Steel Watcher.

Condition: Repair Matrix

Duration: 2 turns

• At the start of its turn, restorative servos heal this Steel Watcher for 3d8hit points.

Notes

• In total, while in this state, the Steel Watcher Titan has the following effects:
  • Gains  75 temporary hit points, increased to  200 temporary hit points on Honour mode.
  • Heals 3d8⁠⁠hit points per round, increased to 6d8+14⁠⁠hit points on Honour mode.
  • Ignores any damage less than 15 points, with the threshold increased to 40 on Honour mode. Note that this does not reduce the damage of an attack that exceeds the threshold.
  • Becomes immobile.
  • Gains access to  Hellfire Missiles and  Repel.
  • Loses access to all its other actions such as  Multiattack,  Launch Protocol: Bola, and  Hellfire Curse.
• This action technically has a once per combat limit but the Steel Watcher Titan is given two identical copies of it. As a result, it can can use this action twice per combat.
• The Steel Watcher Titan unlocks this action after dropping to certain  hit points thresholds. Once it is below 75% HP, it can use the first copy of the ability. It unlocks the second use after dropping to 50% HP.
