Digestive Sap is a class action available to the Shadow-Cursed Shambling Mound which drenches nearby creatures in digestive juices. This allows the shambling mound to DevourDevour an afflicted creature, provided it is also restrained.

Notes

  • The Shadow-Cursed Shambling Mound can use the potent combination of Digestive Sap and DevourDevour in a single turn. It will target any restrained creature with Digestive Sap (who will roll the saving throw at DisadvantageDisadvantage due to being restrained). If successful, it will immediately follow up with Devour and instantly kill the target. As a result, it is important to avoid being restrained in the first place. This is most easily accomplished with Freedom of MovementFreedom of Movement or Ring of Free Action.
