Where to find

Notes

  • This is one of very few non-Dippable weapons in the game, as its special property functions largely the same as being dipped in FireFire.
  • This weapon is the earliest "magical" weapon which can be obtained, which means its physical damage component ignores the non-magical slashing resistance that, for example, the CambionsCambions have in the Prologue.
  • Although the blade seems to cast light in a small area around the wielder, this does not protect against the Shadow curse.
  • Can be obtained by casting Command: DropCommand: Drop on Commander Zhalk instead of killing him, though his chance of succeeding the Saving throwSaving throw is high.

Bugs

  • Sometimes the visual burning effect will stop functioning. Dropping the weapon, picking it up, and then re-equipping it fixes the issue.
  • The burning effect is not visible in cutscenes.
