When dealing damage to a target with a ranged weapon, the target must succeed a Charisma Saving throw or be Baned Baned for 2 turns.

Where to find

Notes

  • For Zarys to reward the party with this item, they must not have made a deal with Rugan Rugan to pretend that the shipment is lost. Doing so effectively locks the party out of acquiring this item, since it cannot be looted or bought.
  • Harold is also found in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear. However, the description of the item differs slightly from the new one. That weapon had a chance of inflicting Doom, as the spell Bane Bane did not exist in the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition ruleset used by the older games.
