Ring of Elemental Infusion

The Ring of Elemental Infusion is an uncommon Ring that infuses your weapon with the element of your spells or cantrips, dealing additional damage.

The mysterious gem set in this ring seems to change hues whenever you aren't looking.

Properties

The wearer of this item gains:

Elemental Infusion: When you deal ⁠Acid, ⁠Cold, ⁠Fire, ⁠Lightning, or ⁠Thunder damage using a Spell or a Cantrip, that element infuses your weapon. Until the end of your next turn, you deal an additional 1d4 damage of that element on your first successful weapon attack.

Regarding Elemental Infusion:

Elemental Infusion can apply its damage bonus multiple times to a single weapon attack.
The individual elemental damage boost conditions all share the same StackID with each other, meaning only one may be active on a character at a time. However, the conditions also use a StackType of Overwrite, meaning the last condition applied from the passive is the condition that will actually affect the wearer's next melee weapon attack. Due to the way the passive is written, this causes a priority effect where the conditions follow this order of priority (with the later conditions overwriting the earlier conditions):
-  Acid Infusion <  Cold Infusion <  Fire Infusion <  Lightning Infusion <  Thunder Infusion
  - This means that if a character attacks an enemy with a spell that deals primarily Fire damage, but is also dealing bonus Thunder damage, the character will be left with Thunder Infusion.
