Riposte is a Battle Master Fighter Passive feature/reaction. This ability allows the Battle Master to counterattack and deal damage when an enemy misses them with a melee attack.

Description

When a hostile creature misses you with a melee attack, expend a superiority die to retaliate with a powerful strike that deals an additional 1d8 Physical damage.

At higher levels

At level 10 with Improved Combat Superiority Improved Combat Superiority the damage bonus increases to D10 Physical.png1d10
