Skeletons are a non-playable race of undead creatures. Though often encountered as enemies, skeletons can also be NPCs or friendly summons.

Overview

The remains of the dead, animated by dark magic - be they summoned by spellcasters, or risen on their own.
in-game racial description

Skeletons are the most basic and spare of undeadkind, all flesh and semblance of life stripped away from the body until only a chattering mockery remains. Being composed purely of brittle bone, all skeletons are vulnerable to bludgeoning and immune to poison.

Players can summon and directly control friendly skeletons with Animate Dead Animate Dead.
